The bright colors of this lovely, eye-catching notebook are a hallmark of Wassily Kandinsky’s art. The detail on the cover is from Two Horsemen and a Lying Person (1909-1910) – a work that captures the artist’s transition from landscape to abstraction. 

The painting is part of the Merzbacher Collection, shown at the Israel Museum in the 2013-2014 exhibition Color Gone Wild.
