Curious to see if you can meet the challenge? In this Israel Museum Rubik’s Cube, the Museum logo replaces the uniformly colored sides of the original puzzle. The logo was designed by Willem Sandberg, who served as director of Amsterdam’s Stedelijk Museum and as artistic consultant for the Israel Museum in its early days. Sandberg used spare, clean lines to express each of the Museum’s four elements (clockwise from top right): the Art Garden; the Shrine of the Book; archeology; and art, including Jewish art.
