Alongside her famous landscape drawings, Jerusalem artist Anna Ticho made many watercolor paintings of flowers she picked in her garden. In some, the flowers are arranged in complex and colorful compositions; in others, the artist focused on a single flower, rendering it in the delicate, austere style typical of Japanese painting. This elegant watch is decorated with a detail from Ticho’s watercolor painting Blue and Yellow Flowers (1970).
