Maimonides, the greatest Torah scholar of all time, wrote his magnum opus Mishneh Torah in the twelfth century. The decoration on the notebook’s cover shows a page from the Laws of Prayer, detailed in the book Sefer Ahavah (“Book of Love”) – the second out of the Mishneh Torah’s fourteen books.
