These bowls complement and adorn the unique Spanish Seder plate, a replica of a rare plate made before the Spanish Expulsion. Each decorated bowl is inscribed with the name of the symbolic food it is to contain. 

The original bowls are in the collection of the Israel Museum, gifted by Jakob Michael, New York, in memory of his wife, Erna Sondheimer Michael.
