The design of this elegant silk scarf is taken from Anna Ticho’s painting Blue and Yellow Flowers (1970).
Alongside renditions of the Jerusalem landscape for which she became famous, the Jerusalem-based artist also painted watercolors of flowers she collected from the garden of her home. These works display richly colored compositions ranging from full vases to delicate arrangements of only one or two blooms, almost Japanese in their austere precision.
